Sales of phone cards rose sharply in April of this year. Revenue for that month doubled, according to data from the PTT. According to PTT spokesperson Bouke de Vos, the increased awareness of pay phones that operate exclusively with phone cards and the introduction of the Van Gogh phone cards are the reasons for the sharp increase.
