About Davo

DAVO Publishing is a Dutch company based in Deventer, the “City of Books.” Since 1945, DAVO has been publishing pre-printed country albums for stamps. It all began back then with an album for the Netherlands titled “Dutch Stamps During the War.”

A few years later, an album for Belgium followed, and DAVO now produces albums for more than 70 countries and organizations, including, for example, the Vatican and the United Nations.

M.C. Escher
In 1953, the then-director asked the now world-famous graphic artist M.C. Escher to design a company logo for DAVO. He did so for a fee of
100 guilders. To this day, we are proud to display this unique logo.

Over the Years Over time, the DAVO product line has expanded to include every possible
accessory for stamp collectors. Albums have also been added to the lineup for

Collaborations with Postal Services 
In addition to supplying its range of albums and supplies, DAVO Publishing also works extensively for and with postal services around the world. We produce every conceivable type of stamp-related product, such as first-day covers, annual sets, and all kinds of book publications.
